Class Descriptions

Mini Movers (Ages 3-5)

Specially designed for young learners, this class combines basic ballet and jazz moves, stretching and exercises to enhance fitness. Your child will gain coordination, spatial awareness and self-expression. Games, props and pictures are used to keep little ones engaged!

Ballet & Pointe (Ages 6-18)

Younger ballet students will learn the components of class, build a solid foundation to grow upon and learn terminology. Intermediate and advanced students will build upon that foundation with more challenging movements, work on pointe, performance quality and hone their artistic grace.

Jazz (Ages 6-18)

Jazz is a high-energy, rhythmic style of dance set to popular music. Classes include warm-up exercises and combinations that stretch and strengthen the entire body while developing isolations, coordination, and flexibility. More advanced students focus on leaps, refining turns, extensions and progressions.

Lyrical (Ages 6-18)

Where music meets emotion. Lyrical dance combines the grace of ballet and the power of jazz, often telling a story that words cannot. In this class, we move beyond steps to focus on breath, fluid transitions, and expressive storytelling. Through both choreography and improvisation, dancers learn to emote with purpose, creating a beautiful balance of discipline and creative freedom.

Lengthen & Strengthen (Ages 8-18)

Designed to strengthen a dancer’s physical foundation, this class supports all styles by combining flexibility work with targeted muscle building. Students will focus on enhancing the power and precision of their jumps, leaps and turns, while learning techniques to maintain proper joint alignment and reduce the risk of injury.

Adult Classes

We offer ballet and yoga classes for adults throughout the year in a fun, welcoming environment. Whether you’re stepping into the studio for the first time or returning after years away, we’ll meet you where you are with modifications for all levels. Come on out to move and meet new frineds!
