Studio Policies
Registration Process
All students must be pre-registered for classes through our online Google form at https://forms.gle/EGercBeW2bAyjTY4A. The medical release, liability waiver, and photo consent will be emailed to you after we’ve received your Google form. A $25 registration fee is required per student. Early registration (May 26, 2026 – June 19, 2026) is offered at a discounted rate of $15 per student.
Studio Etiquette
We foster a supportive and respectful environment. All students, parents and instructors are expected to maintain a professional and respectful demeanor. Parents/guardians and siblings are welcome to wait in the waiting area during class. Please keep noise to a minimum so dancers and teachers can stay focused. Children should refrain from running or standing on furniture. Dancers may bring water only into the classrooms. Be sure to place trash in the trash can. Thank you for helping us keep our studio clean. Cell phones should remain in dance bags and are not permitted in the classrooms. Please label your child’s dance shoes and items so they can be returned if necessary. A lost and found box is located in the studio.
Class Cancellations
In the event of inclement weather, you will be notified by email, text message or phone call. Be sure to like and follow us on social media, closings will also be posted there. The first week of classes is free and set aside as a snow make-up week. If more make-up days are needed, they will be added at the end of the season.
Attendance
Dancers should arrive on time so they can warm up properly and get the most out of their class. If your child will be absent for any reason, please notify us in advance via email at centeredsod@gmail.com. Students are welcome to attend another class within two weeks as a make-up lesson. You must notify us via email to let us know which class your dancer will attend. Regular attendance is essential. Each class builds on the next, and consistent participation helps support both individual growth and the progress of the class as a whole. We kindly ask that all dancers are picked up promptly, especially at the end of the evening.
